Toys for Tots

I sent in a request for toys from Toys for Tots for my nieces and nephew and I was curious to see if anyone on here has done that before. I haven't heard anything back and I sent the request over a week ago. Can someone explain how the process went for them, how long it took, etc?

I always try to donate at least 1 boy toy and 1 girl toy

Yes, but not for my kids but my nieces and nephew. My sister has been trying so hard to keep her head above water and I thought it would be so neat to have something like that done for her. I just figured I would have heard something from them by now, even if it was just a confirmation email.
