Tractor Question

My tractor has corrugated tin (which helps keep it darker/cooler)...mine is a two story (and WICKED HEAVY)...but it should work pretty well for a one-story job. Also, it only has two wheels (which I like), BUT I wish they were a little bigger.

Where did you get your corrugated tin roof from?

I went to my local building supply store and asked for the "cover" sheets for their metal roofing. They gave me 2 pieces for free. It doesn't hurt to ask and free is always good. lol I believe the sheets were 3' x 8'.

I was thinking of that clear fiberglass wavy stuff, but I think it would look strange on the nest box and not give them enough privacy.

I think that might make your coop like an oven and it could cook your chickens. If you find the same material just white that is what my roof is.
