Tractor Supply Brooders

Wonderful!! The Buckeye, AZ has not. They just put out new babies.
I wish mine hadn't. Now it's going to actually be impossible to get the birds I want, and they're going to be unhealthy again. The towers at my store made them all easier to see, pick out and the chicks seemed far, far happier.

Now it's the crappy troughs again

No, not for many TSC stores and the Buckeye, AZ store, the stackable brooders were bad for the chicks, terrible condition.

Well my store knows what they were doing, and just made it worse for customers and chicks by doing it. Maybe other stores didn't know how to care for chicks using the nice brooders, but mine was doing it right before hand

I don’t think it’s the brooder themselves. The employees I think feel they can let their guard down when they’re in the new brooders. A few things I noticed, was not the actual brooder themselves, but that there was no one near the chicks, the chicks didn’t have access to feed or water, and their was one dead chick who wasn’t taken out because the employees didn’t notice. The chicks were also very overcrowded (70+ In one tray) or under crowded (less than 3)

Now, I’m not saying the employees are lazy or anything. They just probably don’t know much about chicks.
