My favorite is Jack - Black Australorp x Rhode Island Red.... I do hear the roosters are beautiful.Yeah… but maybe he’ll be the nicest too you’ve ever had, and carry that giant egg gene!

Those are imaginaryBut just seeing them on here
You can't touch them at Tractor Supply...... but you want to touch them.... so the little red box comes out! And it's all back to the car from there! Those are imaginaryI can't touch them!
I have to maintain the illusion... because I want new chicks badly!![]()
And I also heard chicks peeping when I dropped off mail at the local post office this morning... my wife is thankful I already have 15 turkey poults ordered from Porter's Heritage Turkeys with an arrival date of mid-June. I had promised her that those would suffice for this year but this thread is making me regret that promise a bit...
One of many purposes of this thread.Okay, this thread is making me think about getting chicks too....Actually I've been thinking about it for a while. I have enough ventilation in my coop for about 4-5 more chickens....and one of my elderly hens won't be around much longer...so possibly more... But I'd like to have some under a year old for the next couple winters so I'd probably get fewer chicks at one time.
YessssEveryone getting TSC chicks must post pictures and a harrowing story of how they rescued them!
Yeah, makes me very nervous buying from a place like that. I've never bought from TSC for that reason, but it may be the only, or at least easiest, option I have to get certain breeds in low quantities.Everyone getting TSC chicks must post pictures and a harrowing story of how they rescued them!
