Snow is melting -- chicks are hatching ~~ spring is finally sprung !!!! I love it ;) I talked with Louise ( she is the event cordinator that I have been talking with since wilton swaps started ) at the Wilton Tractor Supply yesterday -- we are going to be able to do swaps starting in April on the 1st sunday and 3rd of each month !!! Yeah!! Everyone is hopeing it gets a good turn out this summer and we can advance it to every sunday next year :) Remember that we are guest there and please clean up before you leave -- bring food and water for the live stock your selling or displaying -- I'm still looking for people to do demonstrations -- if anyone is interested either pm or give me a call 779-4770 -- Remember the more we offer out to the public the more will want to come see what is going on -- you post here what you may be looking for and what you are bringing . I'm sooooooo excited I cann't wait for the 1st !!!

I have 2 nigerian unregistered buckling bottle babies I'll be bringing along with some barnyard bantams and 2 pair of geese:) I'll also be setting up a stantion to trim goat hooves $5. a goat -- if you need your goaties hooves done bring them by -- great opertunity to learn how to do them yourself -- Cann't wait for the 1st !!

I boosting this thread up to let folks know (by way of Tammy) that Wilton TSC wants to do a swap THIS SUNDAY!

That's this coming SUNDAY, MARCH 18th, FOLKS!!!!!

I am hoping to come to the swap this weekend but don't want to come all that way unless someone is coming with some bantams for sale. Just looking for bug patrol so they don't need to be purebred or anything special. Will anyone have any available this Sunday?

I'll be at the swap with bantam cochins and d'Uccles. The cochins will be cockerels (calico, mille fleur and black), pullets ( black, calico) and hens (red, blue, black and black frizzle). Also a pair of d'Uccles (mille fleur) and a porcelain d'Uccle pullet. possibly some hatching eggs in those breeds as well. I'll be there early.

I know we have a few grown speckle sussex bantam project birds -- I'm not sure how many yet or what sex -- the OH hasn't decided yet on what he is parting with . I know Joanie has some bantam cochins -- not sure how old . I also have posted this swap in all the Maine and Newhampshire groups I'm a member of and know several people are very excited and plan on setting up -- not sure as to what everyone is bringing but could be some more -- what are you looking for a pair or a couple of Roos let me know and I'll see what I can do to hook you up . i know for grown bantams we get $5. a bird - not sure about others prices ~~~~ Tammy

Lol Sorry I missed your post Joanie about your bantams --- thank you again for posting this --- I'm off to check on goats hopeing for kids before sunday !! I don't want to worry while I'm at the swap ;) I'll have a couple bottle babes for the kids to enjoy ~~~~ ( young and old ) ~~~~ Tammy
