Tractor supply quarantining chicks?

I don't think this is strange at all. My TSC waits a little while before they put the chicks out on the floor. For all the reasons @JacinLarkwell has mentioned. And I used to work at Petsmart, we would hold all our new arrivals( small animals and birds) in the back for a minimum of 24 hours before we would put them on the floor to sell. That would tell us who was sick and who was healthy

Ok great! Thanks so much everyone! I just called again to find out breeds and they have olive egger and Jersey giant pullets which I will be going to grab sone of after noon.
