Tractor wheel suggestions

Just a thought. What about 4 wheels on legs that pivot up and down and lock into place? Drop the wheels and move it, then raise them back up when its in place. That would allow larger tires for the rough terrain.

That does sound like a good idea. I actually think I could do that. Thanks for the suggestion.

I was reading this thread and I was wondering if you have successfully configured your wheel? I would love to see your finished product.

I should have put the pivot point closer to the center of gravity. It worked well, just a little heavy picking up the front end. I'll be moving them before next season.
