You can buy a new still air LG with a solid state thermostat now for about $42. I am told they work much better than the old ether filled wafer thermostat.

Yup and dont forget you can pick up a computer fan to put in it at yard sales or flea markets for next to nothing, you just install the fan and then wire it to a 12~volt reg power pack to plug in. easy and simple really..

I think the new one also has a different egg capacity. I believe the old one held 28 eggs versus the new one that holds 41.
