Tradescantia pallida toxic for chickens?

Hi everyone!

I posted a question in the Feeding/Watering forum, but confusion rose between T. fluminensis toxicity and T. pallida. JacinLarkwell sent screenshots of a website that stated that the sap was irritating to a lot of organisms. Are T. fluminensis and T. pallida that closely related to have the same effect? My chickens scalped my T. pallida plants and seemed fine.

No worries! I got one for a related species, not for T. pallida. I'm going to assume it's safe, because my chickens seem fine

It does sound like it is ok for them.
