I put my girls out in their new coop/run today.. After a few hours I went out to see if anyone had figured out the ramp & chicken door.. Everyone was still out so first I took my two "hyper" hens (as I call them) into the coop, they started clucking and pacing. Finally once they spotted their brooder mates in the run they slowly creeped out and of course fell off the ramp, nice! So then I played hansel & grettel and made a bread crumb trail up the ramp, worked!
Well after 2 hours of leaving them out their the 4 that traveled up the ramp into the coop were still in the coop. I tried getting them to go out the door and down the ramp b/c I figured they were confused on how to get down..
lol They all paniced so I took them out and placed them in the run myself..
So my problem is I figured out how to get them into the coop, but how do I train them to come down out of it...
