Training ducks to come or follow...even when they aren't hungry?

So the last few days I kept coming back to this thought. I wasn't hitting on the right wording of what to ask, but I knew I wanted to see if 'more was possible'.

I can get the adult ducks to go in and out of their pen at night and in the mornings.

But with the ducklings I'm wondering how to get them to come and follow, NOT ONLY when they are hungry?

What do you think about this?

Mine are ALWAYS hungry for two things: mealworms and tomatoes. I started by saying, "come here ducks," while feeding them these things. Now I can call them to me anytime.
