Training "stubborn" hens

Nope! My girls will have to find bugs 🐛 on their own 🤢 In the winter, my husband will be in charge of any bug protein :sick
A couple of days ago, I was removing some of the small chick feeders, now that all of the chickens are eating out of the main feeder, and it had gotten rained on and filled with muck. I pried it open, and there were a disturbing number of maggots wriggling inside. I set it back down on the ground open and the chickens went nuts. They had that cleaned out in minutes.

Isn't it great?! Little Hoovers for anything that makes our stomach turn!
