Any hen can crow. One of mine does all the time and she lays eggs every day.

A hen can’t be “transgender” as gender identity is something that only humans experience. Just because your hen has been crowing does not mean she is transgender because chickens don’t have a gender identity thus they cannot feel that their biological sex does not match it. Her biological sex is the only thing for her to experience and no it is not going to magically change just because she crows. Having a damaged ovary is something all animals can experience and that never just makes them male.
