Transition into Brooder

Hi. I am really new to the chick thing! Mine are supposed to hatch tomorrow and I'm busy working on getting my brooder ready! What type of woodchips/etc should i put on the floor of my box? How long after they hatch do I put them in the brooder? Any suggestions for cheap chick waterers/feeders?

I didn't hatch mine (bought) but I put them in the brooder when they were 4-day old.
The brooder had aspen wood shavings (I think). The chicks lived in the brooder for 8 weeks.
