When I brought my chicks home I began feeding them unmedicated chick starter. During the first week, one started showing signs of cocci. By the time I got Corid, another was showing symptoms as well. I treated them all with Corid via their water and all made full recoveries. I then switched them to a medicated feed. I brought home an additional 3 chicks a week later and put them on medicated feed from the beginning. Depending on what article you read I see that they should be transitioned to regular chick starter at two weeks while others say to continue until 16 weeks. I wanted to post this here to see if I could get some practical advice from people who have actually done this as opposed to someone who just writes articles for a website.

Because you have the Corid and you now know what a bird afflicted with coccidiosis looks like, I would just switch them over to the non-medicated as soon as you run out of your bag of medicated.
I've never fed it. I just watch for symptoms and act accordingly.
