Transport cage question

Hi, I'll be taking some spare roos to be processed very soon. I have a transport cage with one door, on top. Any tips or tricks for getting the birds into the thing? Last time, I used dog crates and it was easy - only getting them OUT was a pain. I don't like to inconvenience my processer guy, so I bought the cage...only now I think I'm the one being inconvenienced! Which is ok, but can anyone give me hints about how to load my birds the easiest way?

hold 'em by the legs stick them in head first....wings fold back on bird

X2 I only use top loading cages so much easier.
