Runners are defiantly different. But I love them slim upright things.

Glad to hear things are calming down. I was starting to wonder who was stressing more, you or your flock. 
It's not easy being a good poultry owner at times, but it all seems to work it's self out. I know I have had my stressful moments at times also!

Hey!
Well I’m also introducing new ducks eachother. I’ve been working on it for the past 3 weeks and this is what i have learned.
I have two 8 week ducks and I began introducing 3 ducklings that were only a few days old, now they are three weeks. However the 3 little one are not the same breed as the big ones.
When I first introduced them I put one baby duck in my hand and showed it to the bigger ducks. The big ones did not take it well. The started vibrating their head and trying to bite them. Once I knew that they didn’t get along I had to make a separate area for the little ones. Every time the big ones would come by the would try to bite them. but they couldn’t since there was a fence separating them. Once the little ones started to get bigger they would put their beak through the fence and poke the big ones beaks. For two whole weeks I was seeing little no progress. The big ones would still try to bite them through the fence. So then I took the little ones and put them together where the big ones were. I thought that the big ones would try to chase after them but no. The big ones would only get mad and try to bite them if they got close, about a foot close to them. However the little ones had plenty of space to run away if the big ones tried to bite them. I had to put in More food and water containers because the big ones will never want to share. Now they are all together all day. except for the night however the big ones still try to bite them. One of the bigger ones is becoming more chill with them and not minding as much when the get close. But i’ve only been having them together, ground to ground for 2 days. I’m guessing that they will get along better once the little ones become bigger. But there is one thing you need to have through all of this, and it’s

Seth, looks like you and your flock are doing much better over day one. All any of us can do, is try and do our best when faced with the challenges of having poultry. IMO having a cat or a dog as a pet doesn't even come close to all that goes into having Poultry. It's a huge responsibility and those who can't even properly care for a cat or dog has no business messing with poultry. Harsh as it may sound, just being honest.

SO! Tonight everyone went in no issues, my FIL had been watching them for a couple days so I hadn’t had much viewing time or time with them this weekend. I had down new bedding, and I put the bowl down and the white and darker of the fawn Runners dove in with everyone else on their peas!!!so just the little timid one was left out. Defiantly some exciting progress, my FIL also said they were in the pool occasionally too, so that is great news in my book. I am going to find a bigger bowl tomorrow so there is room for everyone!
