Transporting chickens?

Just wondering, am I allowed to "transport" a few chickens from one state to another?

I would get new chicks when I got there if I was moving to WI rather than deal with it.

I would too, but I just hatched them, and basically no one has This mix

Dog kennels would be your best bet.

Oh, I already chose! The top 5 will be Ruby, Oreo Penguin, Fluffy, Hawk, and Joy, the broody. If I have space for 6.... I'm taking Marshmallow

As for transport - I would go with home depot cardboard boxes with bedding added. If you are taking 6, get two boxes that are just small enough to fit snugly in the back seat of your car. 3 Chickens per box, transport at night so they spend most of the time docile or just asleep.
