Transporting eggs

Hi All, I live in Michigan and will be driving to Connecticut to spend Easter with family. I would love to bring some fresh eggs with me and am wondering if there is a way to keep them fresh for 2 days in a car. I stop half way to spend the night because there is NO WAY I am going to drive straight through! Anyone have some ideas???

I should think they'll be fine with no special handling. Room temp eggs are fine for a couple of weeks (minimum).

they are ok to travel at room temp but don't put them in the re fridge before leaving. from nest to egg carton to car to family I take mine to Kansas all the time
