transporting incubating eggs

Has anyone had to transport their eggs during incubation?

I am thinking I need to take the incubator home during spring break.

Does it just lower the % of hatch?

I moved my incubator from NC to PA when I first started hatching eggs a couple years back. I wrapped it in a blanket, kept the heater int eh car on high. Temp dropped a bit and I still had eggs hatch. They were all shipped eggs so I don't know how much, if any the 10 hour car ride affected the rate.

How did your eggs hatch? Just curious because I have to transport mine and wondered how yours hatched
