Transporting incubator

I have an incubator with quail eggs and chicken eggs. They have almost a week to go. Can I transport them across town, or will road travel harm my chicks?

This far along it should do any damage I don't think. Just cover the incubator with a blanket or something if you don't have a way to plug it in.

Is it ok to put a new chicken chick in with 4 day old quail chicks. This chicken is early. Oops, posts say not good idea.

The chicks are 15 days old and they average 82 grams. I weighed the whole lot of 13 and averaged the weight. They had to be moved into a cage outside since they fly every time I change the water, etc. i wasn't expecting to chase them in the laundry room.
