Transporting live birds across state lines?

Anyone have experience with this? I'm in Alabama. Wondering if there's any sort of health certification required.

Interesting question. I am in WA, near the border of OR, and people buy and sell animals across the state line all the time. There's not even a checkpoint where anyone would stop you. Is it different in other parts of the country?
