traumatized geese

It looks like a raccoon may have attacked 2 of my geese (1 goose, 1 gander) last night or they tried to protect some eggs. All but 1 of the eggs that were in the house have been broken and eaten. We weren't planning on these eggs hatching we just left them for my "special" goose to nest. They both have blood all over but it doesn't appear to be theirs. Although the gander does seem hurt but I can't find anything. I think his injury his chest area, he seems to be missing some feathers there and I tried cleaning it up to get a look. I don't see anything but he didn't want me messing around his chest. He is definitely unsteady. The female, while also has blood all over her, doesn't seem to have any injury that I can tell but she won't let me touch her. Normally she is more friendly to me and the gander won't let me touch him. Both are holding their heads scrunched down with their bills against their chests. Is there anything I can do for them?

When my goose has had a bad experience, she always goes to wash it off - literally. It seems she recuperates much faster when she gets to take a bath. She hasn't encountered much worse than a flying kite, though.

Geese can take days to recover mentally after being exposed to shock. The best you can do is let them be and not expose them to any more disturbance. Let them bathe and give them treats.

Oh, and of course secure their pen/coop so no more predators can threaten them.
