Treat a bird in quarantine?

have read many articles that says that you should not treat a bird that's in quarantine but rather let it be sick so you can see what's going on. Just got some 4 mo marans yesterday. Seemed fine yesterday. Today, one seems a little depressed and is having a lot of poops that look like shed intestinal lining. No bright red blood. I have corid. Treat or leave her be? If I treat and she gets better will she be safe to go into my flock in a few weeks?

I would treat her with Corid for 7 days if you suspect coccidiosis. Dosage is 1.5 tsp of the Corid powder or 2 tsp of the liquid Corid per gallon of water. Coccidiosis is something many chickens can get, and not like some other diseases that may cause them to be carriers.

So if she clears up, she will be fine to introduce to my flock in a few weeks? (Assuming nothing else turns up?)
