I think I only got the top part out? She had a pea sized black scab on the outside that softened up with soaking that came off fairly easily. But when I got that off there was still just solid skin underneath, with a little blood. No visible abscess material.
I’m going to continue soaking daily and try the PRID salve to see if that brings anything to the surface more.

You’ll definitely want to use a drawing salve. Luckily they work pretty rapidly.
