My chooks have been on treatment for [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Coccidiosis, I am treating with Coccivet a product with active Amprolium. I have mixed flock of young and mature chooks.
Is it ok to eat the eggs from the birds that are currently on this treatment?
Should I be taking any extra precautions with the kids around the infected chickens?

I don't have much experience with Cocci other than some shipped chicks I treated but I don't think it would be good to eat the eggs. Read your packaging it may have a withdrawl time for eggs or milk whichever should be the same.
As far as your children around birds that have Cocci, very good hand washing, and they maybe able to spread it to other chicks/chickens by handling them.
Hopefully someone that's experienced this more than me will offer advice.
