Treatment for mites

So what is the easiest and safest way to treat 30 plus chickens for mites? They aren't heavily infested, but I did find a few on a couple birds today. If I treat with Sevin is there a withdrawal time for eggs? Am I going to have to individually sack dust all 30 of them????

I use Sevin 5%. Don't think there's any withdrawal time that I'm aware of. Yes you should dust them all.

Yep dust them all and on everything except the water they are drinking out of and food they are eating out of.

Hi nuts!

Such a bummer. Yep, ya gotta dust them all, and then, (we had them once) I had to clean out the coop TOTALLY and dust the coop and chicken run too.

What a chore!

You have to repeat the process in a week because the little eggs will be hatching then, so you kill the baby mites before they reach maturity.
