This was a post on facebook that I wanted to share with you all.
Do you have chickens??? Try this...
Emptying a few cans of corn into a muffin tray, adding water & then freezing it is a very small act of kindness. But on hot days, it means the world to the chickens that live there. Pecking away at an ice block to finally be rewarded with a cold corn kernel is a great way to help them keep cool .
You can also do this with watermelon, peas, green beans, etc!

What part of the country are you in? I'm in Northern Ontario and we're in full summer mode now!

I thought it was a great idea too and fun! Looking forward to giving the chickens 1 or 2 tomorrow!

Its summer here as well, but its been cool and rainy the last few weeks, only now has it really begun to get hot.

Since summer began we get 2-3 nice days then 1-2 cold rainy days. It's very strange weather this year.
