Treats for baby chicks

I am curious when can you start giving treats (i.e veggies, fruits, etc) to baby chicks? How old should they be?

I don't treat until they are at least 4 weeks old. Usually I start by mixing my hommade yogurt with some of the starter feed.

When mine were chicks I gave them meal worms. If you plan on keeping them as non-meat birds and want them to be hand tame this is a good way to do it

The would run right up to me to ge the wriggling worm from my fingers!

They're so little you want them to eat all good stuff, and I also let them eat bugs and stuff from around 3 or 4 weeks..... mine got grasshoppers!
