So yesterday I snipped a sprig of lavender that we have hanging on each side of the coop and gave it to one of the more friendly chicks. She flipped ! Started running around with it hanging out of her beak and the others started chasing her. I had never seen any of them acting like that. It seemed harmless enough so I tossed them a couple more and it entertained them for and us for about half hour or so until they wore themselves out, lol. We did some research on line before hand of course which is also why we have lavender hanging around the coop to begin with. Anyways, what are your thoughts about giving chicks treats ?
