BUT sometimes I just, give up!

I have a pair of year old peas, we adopted a few weeks ago....
They have settled in perfectly. NO complaints.

However, NOW that they come running to me when I go to feed the chickens, ducks, and chicks..they (peas) expect something special (at least that is what I think

What are the BEST treats that Peas will enjoy, and are heathly????

Can be as simple as cuttings from your lawn if they are penned up, to cut up fruit or vegetables from the garden. I always plant a couple hills of Zuchini in my garden. As you might know they produce a lot. We take the best ones for the house and I let a couple grow a bit bigger then cut them in slices and let the birds eat the rest. They'll devour everything but all of the skin.

Ah ha! So many good suggestions. THANK YOU< THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!

Any chicken or duck eggs that I find that are cracked I boil up and feed to the peas. My pair also like cat food, corn, sunflower seeds and meat scraps. Feeding them treats has been a big part of mine getting settled in and getting used to me being around.

Oh yes, eggs! I grind up extra eggs or cracked eggs, after they are hard boiled, and give them to the birds. They really like them, and the eggs are very good for them.
