Treats

How many weeks should I wait to feed baby chickens treats to get them more use to me. I need to show them plus I don't want the chickens to be evil, lol.

I didn't give treats till my 7 Barred Rocks were 10 weeks. But I picked them up and cuddled them every day since I got them as day old chicks.
They started to lay at 20 weeks and all were laying around 23 weeks.
They are 6 months old now and gave me 41 eggs last week. 5 of 7 like to be held. . GC

I didn’t give treats for a long time either!
-and my chickens are like feathered dogs!
They come running when I call them.
Know their names.
And all except one immediately allows us to pick them up. They other one runs a little, then stops. She knows I’m not going to give up. Lol

Good golly..
Provide some Grit and give a treat a couple times a week. I give treats to my Broody Hens and Chicks. They love them. My Chicks are a week old.....

I give my flock treats a couple of times per week. Usually it is scrambled eggs with the egg shells crushed in with it. It’s a great warm winter treat! In the summer I like giving them mealworms and fresh fruits and veggies.
