TREATS!!

Y'all are so lucky! Mine won't eat "guts" of anything - melons, squash, cucumbers, etc. Heck, they won't even eat the good parts. They do love pineapple, berries, grapes, apples & tomatoes. Wish they did eat my veg waste! Just keep in mind whenever you give "treats" you're diluting the macros of their feed. They don't overeat like humans!

Mine love violet leaves, lemon balm leaves, hosta leaves, just plain grass clippings, squash leaves, mealworms (purchased from feed store), basil, apples cut up into little bite size pieces and radish leaves. I tear them up and let them drop in the run a little bit at a time. They are like fish in pond on a feeding frenzy. Right after they have treats they go to their chick feed and cracked corn. It seems to encourage them to eat.

Mealworms and Black Soldier Fly grubs, freeze dried. Tomato is something they will kill for. Anything red.
