My son told me he is bring some crickets for the chickens. This is always fun to watch. We have ten runs with 50 chickens in each, each run will get a box of 1000 crickets. The fun starts when we place the box in the run and the chickens hear the crickets. We leave the covers on the boxes and try a string around them so we can pull them off at the same time. At first the chickens jump back because of the covers flying. Then it is on, a ckickens will pick up a cricket and run with 4 or 5 chasing it. Then this is repeated until the crickets are gone. Same are just hiding and will be found the next day. Some just get away.
