Trend in the combs? Wiggly single comb?

I’ve noticed that two of my chickens have combs that are starting to look wiggly or zig-zag at the front. Naturally, I went down a Google rabbit hole- pea comb, rose comb- oh geez I got in the woods....

The two birds in question are supposed to be Rhode Island Reds (though I know their sister is much lighter on top- just ignore her, she photobombed, probably a New Hampshire Red mix or something similar). So, I’m wondering — is this kind of comb shape normal for RIRs?

From what I’ve read, it doesn’t seem typical.

(Sorry about the photos — they’re in the hurricane shelter dust bathing after slurping down (and flinging) moist crumbles). I was working on a project, and wherever I go- they follow)

18 weeks 3 days (roughly, my math is horrible).

Thanks in advanced for your expertise!

The first one's comb looks normal to me.

The other one's comb seems to be the result of single comb and pea comb mixed together at some point. Or it could just be a weird single comb.

If there was some mixing, it was probably a couple of generations back. It's nothing to worry about. They will still be healthy and lay plenty of eggs.

Thank you!
I’m trying to soak up as much info as my brain can handle, and I have to say — the evolution of combs is fascinating.

Take my fluffy-footed, white-splashed Marans-Leghorn-something rooster, for example. The poor guy can hardly see! He flips that comb around like a celebrity tossing their hair on the red carpet. ... and he was born on easter! (almost 12 weeks ago). It will be crazy to see what he ends up looking like, ill need to give him goggles (joking)

Leghorns have big combs in general, but usually they are upright in males. Not always though. Hopefully it won't be a problem for him. Polish chickens cope with their enormous crests, so I'm sure he will adjust. I don't know why he would toss it around. Probably just something he enjoys.

I think he just likes to do it- he plays in the mug a lot. Here he was a week ago... so 11 weeks old under that fancy hairdo:

White feet with feathers. Came from a dark chocolate egg. Random black feathers.

These photos are mid movement, he likes to strut his stuff. Such a Diva (even tho I am aware Suki is a boy... yes I fully realize that, case closed with crowing). If it keeps going- he will be like a one-eyed lap-cuddler pirate chicken. But yes, single comb I believe. The others just had me a bit curious as they looked different.

Rhode Island Reds crossed with a leghorn-Marans cross rooster should give you some nice layers with feathered legs (not guaranteed how many)
I definitely wondered aht they would look like... I wish there was an app that could do a rendering, lol. No matter how ridiculous.

Are the white feet dominant or recessive?
