Trespassers and ducklings...

You might also consider Muscovy ducks. Muscovy's can have large clutches and sometimes the last few hatchlings get left behind as a way to be found orphaned. The other duck you may want to consider is Wood Duck. They nest in tree cavities and the babies have to climb/jump from the bottom of the next to the exit hole and late hatchers are often left behind. The best way to tell a Wood Duck baby is that when put in a box they jump jump jump jump trying to get out of the box. They also have black feed but each toe has a small pale yellow strip to it. It they're Muscovy then you can enjoy them yourself or give them to another duck lover. If they're Wood Ducks then they should be turned over to a Wildlife Rehabber so they can be raised to be released back into the wild from wence they came.

In either case, it's nice to know that someone thinks you love animals and are a good enough animal mom to take care of these babies. It would have been nice to have been asked first though!
