If there anyway to get a chicken to become broody??

Become God. Thats the only way. Its a nature thing. If you want a broody your best bet is to get a breed that does it often. I had a silky around here for along time to do nothing but hatched eggs. She was broody the 6 months I had her.

Leaving a few eggs in the nest will help, but the GOD answer is right on.

unless she is of a breed that broods, then the GOD answer is right. But if she is capable then I would just let her lay enough until she becomes broody
