Sorry for some pictures being not great, was racing the sun setting so I don't expect 100% confident answers. Just want opinions on what you guys think. Does big wattle/comb mean anything or is color the best tell tale for BCMS?

I know BCMs can be a bit tricky when sexing, since you can't always rely on comb/waddle development. These guys are all 3 months old, same hatch date so it shouldn't be a case of anyone being older/more developed. I have two for-sure roos, lots of copper on their backs and huge comb/wattles. And 3 pretty-sure pullets, tiny combs and no copper leakage on back/wings. But then I have 5 others with big combs, three reddish pink and two pale pink. Three have no copper on their back, two do. Are these all roos because they have big combs? Or only the ones with copper on its back, even though their combs are a ton smaller than the for sure roos?

Pictures of the 5 suspects included, and the other 5 for reference.

I also have some pictures of some of them standing and not being held, it's hard to get them to stay still so I only got 3 of the suspects

Speaking only on your suspects. I'm leaning all 5 are cockerels with #3 iffy still at this point.

Comb size comparison to pullets is the biggest tell for BCM. Copper coming in on the wings and back at a younger age isn't a good tell between males/females, it could be just mossiness and should molt out.

But at this age of yours it's an indicator of males especially when it's in the wing area. I'm not seeing any copper yet on the back or wings of #3, but that comb difference from your confirmed pullets has me thinking male also.

Wanted to add you got some good looking BCMs so far. I hatched out 8 on Easter Sunday from my BCM flock but only got 2 boys and not from the specific hen I wanted boys from. So I hatched out 10 more from 2 broodys and got 4 boys/1 girl from that hen and 3 boys/2 girls from another hen.
I wanted boys....🤣

Thank you! They all came from gorgeous dark eggs too so I was really hoping for some girls, since I'm not keeping any of these boys myself 😂 I'll try again after I find homes for all these bachelors I have on my hands 🤦‍♀️
