Trilling

I have a baby rooster that has taken to getting up on my shoulder and perching. I cant put him with the big girls yet as they pick on him and chase him around. He will chirp and tweet but yesterday made that trilling sound. I didn't know if it was a rooster thing or what as I haven't heard the girls do it. Glad to know it means he is happy. Given this maybe he will be nice to me when he gets big

My little easter egger seems to have quite a vocabulary. She makes all kinds of different sounds including the trilling, and yes i call it purring too.
I tried to catch it in video....but as soon as I got my phone unlocked she stopped.
