Trim chicken toenails?

I cut my birds nails with a toe nail clipper, you can usually see the quick so you don't cut them down tooo far making them bleed. It's surprisingly simple if held the right way. In fact I saw a video on youtube showing how it's done. I do the beaks the same way.

If holding them proves to be too difficult you can always throw a towel over their head and lay them down on thier sides to get the job done

I have dog nail clippers that don't have the "loop" that someone mentioned. I'm gonna try those.

if they walk on brick and a stone driveway, won't that help dull them a bit?

I agree they are a little long go slow and easy.
