Trimming duck feathers?

I am a new owner of two pekin ducks, a male, and a female. As they grow I want to let them roam in the grass, but have seen videos of them lifting off the ground a bit, and my ducks are not as tamed as I didn't get them as babies. I have also seen videos of feather trimming of ducks but was wondering if it was the same as chicken trimming? Because in all the videos they were seen trimming both wings of the duck but wouldn't that make them balanced? So what is the correct way of trimming duck wings?

I wouldn’t bother, mine rarely try to fly, when they do it’s usually a crash landing. I’d you want them to go somewhere, walk behind them slowly with your arms out, and herd them. Carrying sticks or small rakes may help.
