Trivia game

There is research showing that providing chick grit from a young age is vital for organ development! I would definitely provide it if you can find it. I personally had a tough time finding it last year due to people panic buying chicks during the pandemic, but eventually I got my hands on some

I have some I bought a bag yesterday just in case should I give it to them even though they're on crumble feed.

I use fine pine shavings just because that’s what we already have for my horses and it’s worked well so far. And I sometimes let my babies peck at melons sometimes they like it and sometimes they don’t. I just mean when you start to give them food that isn’t in crumbles that’s when you should start giving grit. If they are free range when they are older and there’s gravel around then you don’t need to give grit they will usually find it themselves

Actually I would always recommend giving grit. They're good about self-regulating and it's sharper than any rocks they can find outside. Where I live we have clay soil that lacks many small stones so they go through massive amounts of it

I have the smaller ones for the chick and it's ok to use the fine pine shavings I just want to make sure I got everything right.☺️
