[Three Cedars Silkies]

We had to have 3 cedar trees removed due to age and it left the runs with a bit more sunlight which is fine in the winter, but not in these hot Florida summers. Bat Cave Silkies gave me the idea of using these umbrellas that are purchased at Big Lots. They provide great shade for each turnout paddock and are easily adjustable for height.

Now I'm on the search for a good misting system...

Very cute! We have lots of trees and the girls' fav is a very large cedar in which I hang a mister hose. They'll chillax under there for hours! We're in Ocala

and this early heat is crazy!! What's it going to be like in July and August???
