Hello All,
I live in Florida and we are now in the season. How would protect your flock? We did build it well using truss clips and anchors in the ground but you don't mess with Mother Nature. Any tips would be great.
Thanks so much

Try the Florida thread for ideas! My experience has been with a typhoon while living on Okinawa years ago; there was a plan for managing everything on a daily basis, as the storm got closer to landfall. I would think that a very small flock could move indoors in dog crates for a short time, or travel with you in an evacuation. For large flocks, you do what you can, and hope for the best. As a last resort, letting them out, rather than drowning in confinement. Here in Michigan, it's about tornados, and hope. Mary
