Today I bought a Light Brahma hen at a poultry swap and she seemed completely fine and healthy. I brought her home and she was attacked by one of the hens. Since then, she has trouble breathing and her throat gurgles and sounds really scratchy. She has also been coughing. When she is calm, her breathing seems fine but as soon as she gets her heart rate up her throat makes horrible hacking noises. Sometimes it seems like she can hardly breathe! What can I do?
