Trouble regulating temperature

This hasn't happened to me before, but I put guinea eggs in an incubator that I had running for a day, and the temperature keeps fluctuating by 20 degrees. Too hold, too cold , too hot, too cold, all day. I've been trying to regulate the temperature all day.

Say I finally fix it...is it too late for this batch? it goes from 90-110, and this is day 2.

Are you absolutely sure it's your incubator and not your thermometer? One of my thermometers was really screwing up lately. 110 is pretty high, but don't give up yet.

well, it's the thermometer that came with the incubator. So I dunno...

It's frustrating because I've been adjusting all day.

Throw that one away and buy a new one. the ones that come with the bators are junk. Don't adjust the bator every time it move a little. Have your bator running steady for at least a week befre you place any eggs in it.
