Trouble shooting failed hatch with all live at lockdown: turkeys and FCBM

No, not externally and I'm pretty sure not internally either.

My other hatches have been with (supposedly) fresher, but shipped eggs. Some from eBay and some from MPC.

I had someone tell me the other day they had contacted the manufacturer over an issue and plugs were discussed and they were told to leave them in. I thought (and still do) that was crazy! First thing I did when I received my bator was stick the plug in a drawer. I have never used the plugs during any part of my incubation, and I would especially not advise anyone to leave them in during hatch.

I will definitely chuck the plug then next time and hopefully have a better hatch.

I also heard you want to lower the temperature down to 98 for hatching too much humidity and high heat is not good, you can go to http://www.porterturkeys.com/egghatchingtips.htm and that will help you out a lot
