Trouble walking, not laying... help

Have you checked the bottoms of her feet in case she has bumblefoot?

She is limping
Not laying
Eats and drinks just fine
No weight loss
Appears to be in pain

A month, since the attack.

Update: I think she laid her first egg in a month. She had to or my polish just started laying brown eggs : )

Is she walking any better since she laid the egg?

The antibiotics may help. If she's willing to move about, I would let her.

Yes, no sores or bumps, hot spots or otherwise. Scales are nice an clean. Maybe she has thick legs in her senior years : ) It happens to the best of us.

If she's finally come back into lay, she may improve more.

I'm hoping. She was so tossed about. Lost both my roos and two other hens nearly killed. Let's say the raccoon problem is less as each day passes. Horrible.

She seems to be limping on the right side, perhaps from a hock or hip sprain, but seems to be getting around well enough. But we are not vets, just chicken owners. The more yellow her legs are is probably because she is coming back into laying. I can sympathize with the thicker legs getting older. Hopefully, she is recovering.

Right : ) She is doing better today. It's amazing how resilient chickens are. They recover from so much.
