Hi,
We are raising two turkeys (unsure of sex just yet...most likely female) who were born early April. They've just now started to fight (assuming hormones are kicking in)...serious pecks to each others' heads and waddles which leave open wounds. Any tips on stopping this before they seriously harm each other?

It appears that you have a Broad Breasted Bronze tom and a Broad Breasted White tom.

The more you interfere with the fights (pecking order disputes), the longer it will take for them to settle their differences. When two toms of equal size, temperaments and abilities start to settle their dominance issues, it can take a very long time and sometimes never gets completely settled. If you don't want them to fight, you will have to separate them permanently. Any temporary separations will only cause the fights to pick up again as soon as they are put back together.

FYI, there is no such thing as a Bronze Breasted turkey, there are either Broad Breasted Bronze or heritage Bronze or Wild turkeys which are bronze for color purposes.
