This little one is having problems. Late difficult hatch. Is this an unabsorbed yolk or a hernia? She is still fighting but if she has no chance I would rather cull than watch.

Hi Alice,
Sorry your chick not well I am no expert have done 5 hatches altogether in the last year. As to it been yolk or hernia unsure but I have found that chicks that have had a difficult hatch tend not to make it ant way and now always cull rather than watch the poor little things suffer have watched several slowly slip away. Did you help it hatch because it was taking so long?
